Since it’s inception in 2001, Platinum IDS has maintained a strong sense of community and Philanthropy in the markets that we service.
Platinum has developed and commercialized services that enable legal teams to work together, collaboratively like never before. As Platinum’s innovative services line started to flourish, sales grew rapidly and the company became profitable. Although the regions that Platinum services is constantly growing, Platinum’s commitment to its customers and communities remains a priority.
As CEO, Michael Holmes institutionalized a philanthropic culture and believed that a corporation could achieve profitability for shareholders while simultaneously supporting the people and the communities that ensured its success. Beginning with small-scale activities focused on community relations, Platinum’s philanthropic involvement grew into a substantial program that leveraged employees’ technical and intellectual capabilities in tandem with the company’s philanthropic investments.
By 2012, Platinum’s corporate philanthropy was based on a clear strategy of leveraging our unique cloud and project management competencies to effect positive change for those who need it most. To this end, Platinum contributes a variable monthly percentage of all profits to organizations ranging from Animal Rescue to Underprivileged Children organizations. As of now, Platinum has several primary philanthropic efforts: including:
* Entrepreneurs for North Texas:

* Magdelen House:
The Magdalen House was founded in 1987 by a small group of women who were recovering alcoholics. These women believed there was a growing need for a free, safe house for women, who had few or no resources, to withdraw from alcohol. Inspired by the Way Out Women’s Center, a free residential facility in Houston, the founders raised enough money for a month’s rent and groceries and other expenses. A small house on Lovers Lane –with barely enough room to sleep six—was rented and The Magdalen House was born. The founders formed a volunteer board and a steering committee to manage the house. In May 1987, the doors opened to the first six alcoholic women.
* Rainbow Days, Inc:
Rainbow Days, Inc. (RDI) was founded in 1982 in Dallas, TX by current Chief Executive Officer, Cathey Brown. Cathey began the first support group for young children of alcoholics in the Dallas area. During the weekly support group sessions, the children discussed how to manage their feelings, cope with problems and make healthy choices. The demand for these groups grew rapidly. With the increased need, Rainbow Days began implementing support groups in schools, shelters, and other community locations throughout the Dallas community.
