We love ATL. There is probably no finer or comprehensive daily diary of law culture available anywhere. As I read Brian Dalton's piece today, I was prepared to fully agree with his questioning title. Some of his quotes :
"80% of lawyers do not record time on a mobile device." "Nearly one-third of firms are using a version of Word that's seven or more years old."
- started me thinking, some of this has nothing to do with the lawyers. There are actually three possible identities for the creeper. In many instances the technology is deployed but lawyers won't learn how to use it. Then there are technologies IT wants to deploy but is blocked from doing so by senior management for a myriad of reasons. Then there are IT departments that prematurely and unilaterally make decisions on the firm's new and existing technology. If you ripped the mask off the creeper where you work - who would it be?
