Do you Pro Bono? Would you like to Pro Bono more?

Pro Bono work is extremely noble work.  The good it does for the people helped and for our souls is hard to match.  But like everything in life, there are challenges associated with it.  From not enough time, to not being able to make it work.  And for as much as we'd like, there are some cases, no matter how much we want to take them on, we just can't.

For all of the flack and jokes out there, the legal industry does an incredible job giving back, paying it forward, and making a positive difference in the world.  As attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals we donate time, effort, and tears to causes that are dear to each of us.  We get to choose the endeavors we take on, but sometimes the power of choice doesn't work logistically.

No matter how great relationships are with vendors, their services do not come cheap and while many of them join us for 5k's, food drives, or even our children's school fundraisers, getting them to work pro bono isn't something I have experienced.

iCONECT is looking to break that mold.  They are now offering free user licensing for Pro Bono cases in an effort to get existing clients to take on more worthy Pro Bono initiatives.  For anyone that has dealt with getting approval for ESI projects, the costs assocaited with user licenses is a major hiccup, as they are consistently over $1,500 per user per year.

Being able to level the playing field by empowering your team with the same tools they use on billable cases is a huge advantage.  Before you turn that next Pro Bono case down because the logistics just don't look like they will work out, check out iConect's offering.

If you need someone to help convince the powers that be, please feel free to contact me, and I'll gladly help however I can.
